If you have a family and are looking to buy a home, you want to make sure that there are plenty of things for your kids to do nearby. If you’re thinking about buying a home in the Southeast Valley, there are a multitude of kid-friendly activities in and around San Tan Valley and Queen Creek.

Here are just some of the fun things to do in our area:

Horseback Riding: There are numerous ranches and places for lessons and riding horses in San Tan Valley and Queen Creek. Two places to check out are MD Ranch and Rockin Lt Ranch. They are both great for long or short rides and even kids’ birthday parties.

Sports of all kinds: Do you have an active family that loves to play sports? In addition to hiking and biking on San Tan Mountain, you can also have fun at the Barney Family Sports Complex. This location offers indoor soccer, volleyball, and hockey. This complex also has classes in karate, archery, and hula. Got a budding baseball player in the works? Try the AZ Grip-N-Rip Batting Cages. Located in nearby Gilbert, sluggers of all ages can work on their form, swing, and technique.

Gotta Dance?: For your kids who love to dance, Dance Queen Creek provides classes for all ages and abilities. Offerings include classes in adult hip hop, boys tap, and preschool jazz.

Schnepf Farms: This 5,000 acre farm is a fun place to visit, especially during the many events and festivals and hosted there. There is a Pumpkin & Chili party in the Fall, a Winter Wonderland event during the holidays, and the annual Peach Festival in the Spring. You can come any time of the year and visit the country store or have your child’s birthday party right there on the farm.

While this is only a short list of activities here, it gives you a taste of the fun things to do around town.
