Gilbert Arizona; what’s not to love?

If I was laying down roots as a new family now, there is no doubt in my mind that I would settle in Gilbert Arizona. Located within the Phoenix metropolitan area, Gilbert is the largest incorporated town in the United States, with around 230,000 residents. Gilbert is rapidly growing, but its meteoric rise as an economic powerhouse and suburban center does not take away its focus from serving families and its communities.

Gilbert is, first and foremost, a family area. The town boasts the highest percentage of “family households” of anywhere in Arizona. Ninety-five percent of residents find it a good place to raise a family. CNN/Money Magazine ranked Gilbert as a Best Place to Live in the United States, and the town also found itself ranked as the second safest city in the U.S. The accolades roll in, and people continue to flood into Gilbert.

Gilbert offers housing for a variety of types of families, from starter homes, condos, and apartments to sprawling executive housing and large lots. Every family can find a place that fits in Gilbert.

As the largest incorporated town in the United States, Gilbert boasts a booming cultural, culinary, and business scene. Over 9.8 million square feet of Gilbert is dedicated to retain use, in addition to around 700 acres of public entertainment and recreation land. Manifested in parks, market streets, and other public attractions, Gilbert’s public land facilitates a lively local culture. Locals hunt for classic Arizona deals on Heritage Street, enjoy the classic Liberty Market and Postino Wine Cafe, and run free in the plethora of neighborhood parks and amphitheaters.

Gilbert is served by three quality school districts: the Gilbert Public Schools, Higley Unified School District, and Chandler Unified School District. While each serves thousands of students, most schools maintain a small-school feel, integrated into the community in true Gilbert fashion. Teachers and administrators make an effort to get to know students and families, and most schools play a large role in the Gilbert community.
