Home values in Queen Creek continue to remain strong and steady and in many cases, growing. One of the reasons Queen Creek continues to be attractive to families and singles alike is its sense of community.

Just a short drive away from the booming Phoenix city-center, Queen Creek offers the proximity to city life, but with a definite country feel. You can experience just how “down home” Queen Creek is based on the city’s community events that bring out the festive side of everyone.

One such event is the signature Spring Into QC event. A celebration of Queen Creek’s families, this free event features live entertainment, a community yard sale and kids’ marketplace, and the much anticipated egg hunt. In addition there will be a very special Color Splash. Throughout the event, there will be countdowns to the Color Splash, which has participants filling the sky and each other with color. Two color packets will be provided per person upon entry. Additional color packets are available for $1 each.

And that’s not all the fun that helps to increase home values in Queen Creek. Several local restaurants will provide a tasting of their most delicious dishes to ensure families of all ages and sizes can enjoy the day. This year’s participating restaurants include Applebee’s, Bang Bang Dumpling, Dunkin Donuts, Hot Rod Dog, I Dream of Weenies, LLC, Kona Ice, Nicastro Wood Fired Pizza and the Olive Mill.

Spring into QC will take place Saturday, March 19, from 10 a.m.-2 p.m., at Desert Mountain Park located at 22201 S. Hawes Road. Free shuttle service will be available from the Queen Creek Library located at 21802 S. Ellsworth Road.
