If you’re living in Queen Creek already, you know how much there is to do there. Any time of year. If you’re considering moving to Queen Creek, you may be surprised at the amenities offered. Located just a short drive from other East Valley cities such as Mesa, Chandler, and Tempe, as well as Phoenix proper, Queen Creek is perfectly located. And with family-owned boutiques, a variety of dining choices, and retail and movie theater options, there’s a bit of something for everyone.
While there are many things to do in Queen Creek, I’ve called out a few special options below. Each of them attract visitors from around the Valley and the state each year. And each is uniquely Queen Creek.
-
- Queen Creek Olive Mill is a family-owned Agri-tourism business that strives to bring people to the Mill as a destination rather than just a store. Here you can find Extra Virgin Olive Oil, vinegars, tapenades and stuffed olives. All of the oils are handcrafted and feature all-natural home and body products.
- Schnepf Farms has a long-standing history in the Valley, dating back to the early 60s. In 2006, then Governor Janet Napolitano designated the farm an Arizona Treasure. More than 250,000 visitors enjoy the farm and its activities each year. Including events like the upcoming American Heritage Festival, weddings, fruit picking and holiday fun.
- The Queen Creek Performing Arts Center delights thousands of attendees each year by presenting a variety of events. Performances range from groups to solos to artistic productions. There’s a bit of something for everyone at the Center. Upcoming shows include The Willis Clan, Josh Turner, Shanghai Circus and Flashdance.
