The Queen Creek real estate market continues to thrive. In addition to its variety of home styles and amenities in nearby San Tan Valley, the Queen Creek community has a down home appeal that is hard to duplicate.
Queen Creek is conveniently located within a short drive to most Phoenix Metro cities. The Queen Creek real estate market is appealing to those who want access to everything that a big city offers, but who also want the warmth, character and community of a small town. And Queen Creek is certainly charming. Offering everything from locally-owned boutiques to fine dining, entertainment and recreational activities, Queen Creek has a little bit of something for everyone. And it will soon be the new home for Steadfast Farms.
For half a decade, Erich Schultz has run The Farm at Agritopia, in nearby Gilbert, and has provided organic produce and sustainably raised meat to many local eateries. Now, Schultz is moving his parent company, Steadfast Farms, to Schnepf Farms right here in Queen Creek, where he hopes to get everything up and running by fall.
Schultz will use his experience, along with ideas from small farmers around the country, to create a “farm in a box.” These are buildings that can be moved when needed, helping farmers who have to lease land vs. buy.
To help raise money for his project, Schultz is hosting a Barnraiser Dinner on Monday, July 18, at the Big Red Barn at Schnepf Farms. Local chefs will be on hand to serve up some amazing dishes, with Arizona Wilderness Brewing Company and Dos Cabezas WineWorks providing beverages. Tickets for this worthwhile event are $150 per person. For more information, visit the Steadfast Farm website.
